Scroll down to the Assets section below this. Then download the file for your operating system.

Then, follow the steps below.

For Windows Users

Windows Defender SmartScreen may prevent the app from running initially because it's a new application. The file is safe.

1. Open the downloaded .exe file.
2. You may see a blue "Windows protected your PC" window.
3. Click on More info.
4. Click the Run anyway button that appears.

For macOS Users

macOS Gatekeeper requires an extra step to open apps from new developers. You only have to do this once.

1. Double-click the downloaded .dmg file to mount it.
2. Drag the WriteRush icon into your Applications folder.
3. Go to your Applications folder.
4. Right-click (or Control-click) the WriteRush app icon and select Open.
5. A warning dialog will appear. Click the Open button to confirm.
6. You may have to attempt opening it twice.
