Thanks, fellow (presumably) Firefly fan! I'm happy to merge your commit in, but should note that both ebuilds really need a bit more attention. Given the recent spate of high-profile changes (e.g., optional tile support introduced in DDA 0.7), it's doubtful whether the existing ebuilds even produce working binaries.

That said, I'm committed to resurrecting DDA on Gentoo. Expect to find the stable ebuild bumped to 0.9 and this ebuild reworked from the ground up – sometime this weekend, hopefully. 😸

Yeah, my only real objective was bringing the outdated ebuilds to someone's attention. Something you might want to look into while updating things, is activating the experimental LUA features during compilation (they will have a dependency on lua). There seem to be nice things coming that way with mods and stuff.
