I currently have one main folder with ROMs sorted in sub-folders based on their system. Additionally to issue #3139 (Make Scan Directory Recursive), one convenient enhancement would be to monitor ROM directories (maybe based on previously used directories? Adding a «ROM Directory» setting?) in order to automatically add new games to the correct playlist/system.

I think this is great idea. While it would be a very slow process for larger libraries, it would make sense when you have a small collection of games.

Hi, I would also love this, since I usually add my games one by one after finishing the previous, having it automatically pop up when I start RetroArch would be a GIANT improvement :)

That would be too useful, so no.
