https://github.com/libscie/business-plan#business-motivation

Many creative outputs are the result of combining previous iterative steps, using them as building blocks. For investigative processes, the provenance of information is important to its trustworthiness. Restrictive licensing reduces both the permitted permutations, reducing creative space, and makes it more difficult to trace provenance, reducing verifiability of outputs. The products outlined in this business aim to fundamentally alter these dynamics, by ensuring all building blocks are allowed to be reused, and these blocks are communicated continuously, as close as possible to when they are produced.

This paragraph reads like the method can be applied to any creative and investigative process. Is that part of the plan, to develop and collect experience with a cross disciplinary method? Otherwise, I think this paragraph could benefit from being more specific.

Reading more of the business plan, iiuc this is indeed the goal. I think the plan could benefit from this being mentioned more early on, and maybe mentioning that scientific work is the initial focus?

This commit revises the business motivation, based on feedback from #1, which introduces the wider applicability of our products than just research more clearly.
