node-spotify

libspotify bindings for nodejs.

Warning: This is software under early development. Many features are missing and the API might change at any time without notification.

Building & installation

node-waf configure build test
sudo node-waf install

Requirements

• Nodejs >= 0.1.100
• libspotify == 0.0.4

Example

A simple example where we log in, search for "album:belle", dump the results to stdout and finally log out:

var session = new Session({applicationKey: myAppkey});
session.login("username", "password", function (err) {
  if (err) return sys.error(err.stack || err);
  session.search('album:belle', function(err, result){
    sys.puts(sys.inspect(result));
    session.logout();
  })
});
