		Liferay Portal 6.1 includes many new features targeting end users (power users), systems administrators and developers for enterprise deployments. Each area includes multiple features designed to support the most complex deployments. Liferay includes a web content management and document repository with multiple collaboration services all wrapped up in a portal framework. These features combine to allow Liferay to support an extremely broad range of use cases. 				Liferay 6.1 CE includes a sample website with applicable content to showcase some of the most important features within Liferay Portal. This includes a fictitious company called 7Cogs, its web data, several users and example applications. The sample is completely built using Liferay Portal features and can be (and should be) removed before using Liferay for your implementation.

				The 7Cogs sample can be completely removed from your installation using the following steps:

					Log into Liferay as administrator and go to:

						Control Panel > Plugin Installation

						Search for 7cogs-hook
					</li>
					<li>
						Remove 7cogs-hook

						Note: Some application servers may not support hot undeply using this method. In those cases, follow the instructions of your app server to undeply the 7cogs-hook.war file.

					Stop the Liferay Portal server
				</li>
				<li>
					Delete the data in your database or point to a new database
				</li>
				<li>
					Restart Liferay Portal server
				</li>

					Use a browser to access the server and login using the following credentials:
