Not sure if this is feasible, but I'd like to see an escrow-path invoice that requires payment to flow through a designated transaction arbitrator. I'm imagining that when creating an invoice, you could specify a node/route (escrow) that is required to be somewhere in the path, and uses an HTLC mechanism for holding the funds in limbo until the arbitrator has determined to release the escrow. Ideally, a 2-of-3 recovery should be possible in case the arbitrator has determined that one party has not delivered on the deal.

Trustless escrow is very much ideal, and preferred over escrow custodianship. I'm not sure of the technical details, but certainly I'd like to see solutions around this use case and wondering how difficult it may or may not be.
