  1. drm/atmel-hlcdc: set layer REP bit to enable replication logic

joshua-henderson authored and cristibirsan committed May 31, 2019
This bit enabled replication logic to expand an RGB color less than 24 bits, to
24 bits, which is used internally for all formats. Otherwise, the least
significant bits are always set to zero and the color may not be what is
    expected.

Waiting for vblanks takes too long on our boards. Reverting to the old API
    which was calling drm_atomic_helper_framebuffer_changed.

With this, we can achieve the framerate in kernel 4.9.

  1. input: misc: atmel_ptc: Rename input devices to atmel_ptcX

    codrin989 committed May 21, 2019
This patch sets the names for all the input devices (sliders, wheels,
buttons) to atmel_ptcX, where X shows the order in which the input
    devices registered.

This is neccessary because on the qt1 self capacitance board, a wheel is
    detected instead of a slider.

    This reverts commit e8f39e9.

This commit makes linux go in infinite loop inside IRQ context
if any i2c device is stuck.
Linux will keep receiving RXRDY. So this is not a good way to handle
    reading from the controller

w-simon authored and ambarus committed Feb 7, 2019
of_find_device_by_node() takes a reference to the struct device
when it finds a match via get_device, there is no need to call
    get_device() twice.
We also should make sure to drop the reference to the device
taken by of_find_device_by_node() on driver unbind.
