Cinnamon Notifer not respecting transient hint through dbus.notify #1818

I've tried searching through the issues but did not find one relating to this. Please close if this was already addressed:

Sending a notification through dbus.notify with a hint transient=1 should create the notification but not queue them up in notifications queue to be dismissed. Tested this in Gnome3 and works as expected. Example using notify-send command:

notify-send -h int:transient:1 "Summary" "Body"

Honestly I never knew that's what transient was for... I'll see about changing this.
