I am using ver. 1.2.69 downloaded about an hour ago today, and when I change themes the panel text and extentions disappear. This is not theme dependant, it happens with both the stock theme and custom themes. Once you lose the panel items the only way to restore them is by logging out or rebooting. To reproduce this issue, open cinnamon settings and change to a new theme.

I can't reproduce it here, are you using fedora?

here's a link to my latest test srpm.

No, I am using arch. I cloned the repo a couple of hours ago and built using a modified version of the official AUR PKGBUILD. I have been building cinnamon this way for a while now with no problems, my last update(1.2.61) two days ago did not have this issue.

update: sorry, this issue must have been caused by some other update from arch in the last couple of days...it still happens when i install the "official" version from AUR.

I discovered that the issue occurs after enabling the weather and system monitor extensions...the extensions need to be updated.
