Failure of Left Hand swap of Trackpoint Device After Upgrade from Fedora 24 to Fedora 26 (& still existing on Fedora 30 !)

 * csd version: now at 3.6.0 1.fc26
 * Distribution: Fedora Linux X64 bit Cinnamon edition
 * Graphics hardware *and* driver used: (Hybrid system: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 5500 is primary card & AMD Radeon R7 M265 as secondery card)
 * 64 bit

Issue
When I was on Fedora 24, for 1 year usage, left hand setting for my mouse clicks that are located just above touchpad, was active & working O.K

But when I upgrade from Fedora 24 to 26 it become not active at all ! Left hand swap only working now fine for touchpad, but never for mouse click that are located just above touchpad.

To avoid confusion & to know what I mean, I attached screenshot for my laptop. I add BLUE lines pointers to point to the "mouse clicks" that I mean. Please view attached screenshot.

I've got exactly the same problem after upgrading to Mint 19.1 (Cinnamon 4.0.10). And it's definitely no driver or kernel problem because it doesn't work either with different distributons and Cinnamon as DE and vice versa it works perfect with Mint or other distributions using any other DE.

Dear, now I'm on Fedora 30 X 64 with Cinnamon 4.2.3 & this issue still existing ! Is there possibility to fix it or not ? I did not expect it to remain till this time resistant to fix ! I would like to remember you about it, because it seem that it is forgotten rather than such difficult .....

Same here with Mint 19.2 and Cinnamon 4.2.3!

I upgraded my Fedora from version 30 to 32, but this long standing issue is still existing !

I'm now on Fedora Linux 32 X64 Cinnamon edition,
Cinnamon DE version 4.4.8
cinnamon-setting-daemon version is 4.4.0
