Issue
Setting the Effects Style to Fly Down / Up breaks the display of theme selection menus in the Themes module, Effects selection menus in the Customise Tab, and right click context menus in the majority of GTK apps. The menu is present and clickable, but invisible.

Steps to reproduce
Enable the Effects style Fly Down / Up in the Effects module.

Expected behaviour
Non broken Effects Style.

Other information
Behaviour was originally noted by another user whilst troubleshooting this issue #530, and is easily reproduced.

Note that the linked issue appears to have root cause in Effects as-well - specifically the Window Mapping sub effect being set to Traditional, Fade or Blend.
