For both platforms, 32bit and 64bit the zip archives for 2.0.0.RC1 provides a _MACOSX folder. Reported issue from OSGeo Live Project see Issue #1953.

The problem is comming from extra files such as .DS_Store and __MAXOSX which are created from zip command. To exclude these kind of elements its recommend to use -X as additional option for zip on Linux and MacOSX platform.
