Emby Plex

The Emby and Plex implementations are not that straight forward as the other pages. Please read carefully.

Plex

Requirements

• The library name has to contain the word anime, this is needed to make sure it does not try to sync western movies.
• Sometimes Plex returns wrong data. Disabling remote access and enabling it once fixes it.

How to use it with a custom domain?

Emby

url: app.emby.media

Requirements

• The series needs to have the genre Anime or it wont recognize it. If it has not add it by hand.

How to get it to work?

MAL-Sync needs to retrieve your current api-token. Just open an page with an Anime overview page and a popup explaining how to get it should pop-up.

How to use it with a custom domain?

jellyfin

Requirements

• You have to add your custom domain
• The series needs to have the genre Anime or it wont recognize it. If it has not add it by hand. Alternative the word anime has to exist in the folder path.

Komga

Requirements

• You have to add your custom domain
• By default "books" are recognized as chapters. If you want "books" to be recognized as volumes then you have to tag that manga in komga as 'Volume' or 'Volumes'

Suwayomi
