This project is a Proof-of-concept of a simple iOS iPhone app that communicates with a Ruby Rails 3.1 application to pull/push a simple data model. The Xcode project uses the open source objective-c cocoa project Restkit.
I used Restkit branch 402-new-build-process branch.
(clone the repo)
cd lottadot-restkit-ios-rails3-1
(update the git submodule that points to Restkit) git submodule update --init --recursive
(start the rails app in a terminal window) cd ldtrkpoc1svr rvm 1.9.2@rails310 rake db:migrate rake db:seed rails s
open the xcode project. run it.
