linux-intel-undervolt-gui

The purpose of this project is to provide an electron powered front-end for undervolting certain intel CPUs.

Getting Started

Head to the release page and find a package suitable for your distro

Prerequisites

  • Python (tested with 3, unsure about 2)

  • SecureBoot disabled: msr provides an interface to read and write the model-specific registers and under linux this isn't possible with SecureBoot enabled.

TODO

  • Add benchmark/stress test
  • Add hardware info to read out temps/usage/voltages etc
  • Maybe an auto undervolt script to find the lowest stable voltage
