This reverts commit 24f0bdd.

Pretty sure Mint users would like to use Lutris.

Lol what's the story behind this? Why did strycore removed it?

This does not prevent Mint users from using Lutris.

This is the second time, I've removed the Mint logo from our download page. The first time, I chose to remove it myself. The second time I was asked by a team member if we could remove it.

With the number of issues that arise from this distribution, I do not feel like we should promote this system as something that can be used with Lutris. There are a good number of Ubuntu based distributions for which the PPA instructions also work but aren't featured on the download page. Those Ubuntu variants have a good chance of providing a better gaming environment than Mint and yet, those don't have a logo on our website.

What issues are there with Linux Mint? Don't really see a reason for it to be removed.

Most likely related to this https://files.catbox.moe/nya3zb.jpg more than anything related to Mint distro itself (at least "first" time). Other than that, I have no idea, but I am certain the person who removed it would be nice to provide with examples of issues that are related to Mint more so than other distros, or it might seem like my guess was correct.

This is one of the most completely ridiculous statement I have heard and I will not buy into your menacing tone.
Linux Mint has been removed because it's a shit distro and a support nightmare.
You trying to make it about political stuff is utterly disgusting. Go away.

The only thing "shit" about all of this is having a FOSS project used and maintained by a community stating in its project commit history to a distribution, used and maintained by a community aswell, to "fuck off".
I hope your attitude is not assumed to represent every contributor of this project.

It seems I've hit a nerve. Well, whatever your personal issues are with Mint, don't pretend they are in any way objective and specific to it, especially with naming a commit "fuck off" - very mature.
Issues reported on Lutris desktop client repo mentioning "Mint" are ~50. While Ubuntu has 10 times that almost. And other "non shit" distros have issues in hundreds.
Pop!_OS (distro that is not better in any way than Mint) has similar numbers to Mint. And it's not just about numbers, but in the nature of the issues- looking at them they are not specific to Mint in any way that would exclude other distros.
I'd suggest you reconsider removing it and revert the commit. Or at least make an official statement on website with reasons for doing so, even if it's "FUCK OFF" (which is coincidentally same thing I have to say to you).

I've stopped having personal issues a while ago, that was when I first removed Mint from the download page. But now, after not caring about Mint one last bit for years, I get asked by a team member to remove it again.
The amount of unexplained issues that simply go away when people switch to another system is significant enough for the people who help with support to take notice and to ask me to please stop promoting it.
So yeah, after being given a second chance and not being in a particularly good mood the morning I made that commit, I crudely deleted Mint from the download page.
So now I get people saying that Mint is as good as anything else (which would be closer to my initial viewpoint about distros in general, I don't believe that one is really better than the other). This contradicts what I'm hearing from the support team.

If I am to put the Mint logo back, then I need to be assured that it will stop confusing the people who give their time to help others troubleshoot issues. I don't want to hear stuff like unexplained bugs that go away when switching distros. If there are indeed things that are causing those issues, we need to find them and implement checks and error messages in the client to prevent them from happening again.

I've received additional negative feedback about Mint which comforts me in the fact that we shouldn't further encourage its use.
It's either we don't show Mint on our download page, or we do show it but with a warning message telling people they would be better off running something else.
I would rather keep the more neutral option.
