Auto Generate git Ignore ?

It should be pretty simple to implement a feature in the magento-composer-installer auto-append some lines to the .gitignore - but maybe there is an easier solution

Is it ok, if we make it depend on a config value which per default is "off"?

implemented and modified but not tested, if you experience problems, please reopen

I tried changing permissions for existing .gitignore file to 777, but it's not writing anything to it, or even if I delete the existing one, it won't create a .gitignore. Anyone got it working?
