On iOS6, this works perfect:
copy .sqlite, .sqlite-shm, .sqlite-wal over old database
now, the new data is taken into account. On iOS5, the new data is displayed, but after the app is restarted, all data is lost.
after copying, only the .sqlite file is left, the -shm and -wal disappeared... maybe that's a hint?
Did you find a solution for this? I'm running into the same thing.
unfortunately I didn't look into this a lot longer, as we set the minimum iOS version of our app to iOS 6. I'm sorry I can't help you with this one...
Given the age of this issue, and the volume of issues we have to work through, I've decided to close this alongside a number of other older issues.
If you can still replicate the issue under the latest in-development version of MagicalRecord (3.0 at the time of writing), please feel free to re-open and one of @magicalpanda/team-magicalrecord will take another look. Thanks!
