I have a project with 2 CoreData models and stores that I am trying to keep totally separate. These helper functions made it easier for my setup. I use these helpers to initialize the store, then create an NSManagedObjectContext from it and then use all of the inContext: variants of the rest of MagicalRecord with my context to make sure I am using the right store coordinator. Works pretty well.
If there is a better way to achieve this please let me know. Thanks! #570
We've added methods to the upcoming MagicalRecord 3.0 release that support providing an NSManagedObjectModel instance to a specific NSPersistentStoreCoordinator. Thanks for the feature suggestion!
