I've used MagicalRecord on a number of iOS apps that I've made in the past, and I like the level of abstraction it gives. I'm currently trying out iCloud as a mechanism to sync a core data store between a mac app and an iOS app as a proof of concept, and so far things are looking positive. I've got a little more experimentation to do, but all going well, I plan on using this in the final version of my mac application.
