sounds great -- tried on a fresh installation of Debian wheezy with urxvt 9.15 under VirtualBox.
no effect -- when digging found that curres which is assigned $term -> resource('font'); is undefined, so with the next condition it just exits
Sorry for the late reply. The problem in the case where the user hasn't specified a font in the resource configuration is that the script has no way of knowing which font is actually in use at the moment, so it can't change the size of it. There are essentially two ways I could handle that: either by just assuming a safe default like the 'fixed' font with a normal size like 12, or by printing a message that advises users to set the resource to a value they like. Maybe doing both at the same time would be the best workaround.
I have now implemented what I just said, assuming a safe font and printing a hopefully informative warning message. Please let me know how it works for you.
