Added the ability to create a new bug by POSTing JSON data. This is a much quicker solution than SOAP to add into an existing project that wants to log any runtime bugs, or store site feedback. The security consists of a token made of an MD5 hash of any $username.":".$hashedpassword which is kept secret and transmitted with any REST/JSON request. It has been in production for about 4 months now.

I've forwarded your request to the dev mailing list, as we don't (yet) have a process for accepting larger merge requests on GitHub.

@markkimsal

Thanks, I'll join the mailing list.

What's the status on this merge? It's almost been a year, lol.

This merge is nothing to lol about :-) It is no shape to be merged as
it duplicates code from the existing SOAP API . Please search the
mailing list archive for more details.

Not necessarily. It would be a good thing to have such an API . It's
just going to take a long time to get there.

@rombert: I'm thinking we should close this PR. You promised in May to email your thoughts regarding webservice API after our chat to the list. Any chance you'll get around to this soon?

Whats your thoughts?
