+## Glow
+
+Glow is a library for visual interaction with
+[UTFGrid-enabled](https://github.com/mapbox/utfgrid-spec)
+tilesets like those generated by [TileMill](http://mapbox.com/tilemill) and served by
+[MapBox Hosting](http://mapbox.com/hosting). It uses
+[HTML5 Canvas](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canvas_element)
+to render approximated highlighted areas, and is thus incompatible with
+older versions of Internet Explorer and ancient versions of other browsers
+without the usage of
+[excanvas](http://excanvas.sourceforge.net/).
