French accented character

French accented character are not support in a group mapfile. When I use one in expression or in a comment, save didn't work. I have a server internal error.

• EXPRESSION: ('[type]' = 'état')
• Comment // J'ai supprimé à la ...
• Comment # J'ai supprimé à la ...

But seem to work in map group?
