BREAKING CHANGE: dropping support for node 6 which actually should not have been working before. Minimum version is now 8.17.0.

Some improvements to the project:
BREAKING CHANGE:
Dropping support for node 6 as the mite-api.js that was build was using
...argswhich should already be incompatible with projects running in node 6. As there have been no complaints about that I decided to increase the minimum required node version to 8.17.0.
