In MSIX Hero 1.x it was possible to open any package. In 2.0 preview currently this is only possible via command line. Support for the following must be added:

  • CTRL+O
  • Dropping onto the window
  • Simply pressing a button to open a file picker

Now all the options implemented. When a file is dropped onto the main window, some small visual feedback is shown:
