Also, possibly using the scroll wheel to shrink/expand the time range the window represents |
Oh, wow, I thought I had tested that the "now" line didn't make me jump back but maybe I was wrong but works as I would expect it to now. Using Firefox (106.0.2) on OSX (Monterey 12.5.1). But I plug in to monitor, shut the laptop and use keyboard/mouse. Re: cmd+click - I meant clicking on the Event in the Editor/markdown text to jump to that Event in the Timeline, right now it doesn't do anything for me. I don't see the Jump to Date option yet (maybe it hasn't been released yet) but that will be nice, too! |
i see the Jump To now! and yes, I see the hover states now. Really great
stuff! So then now I think it would just be some quick way to zoom in and
out with mouse when the user doesn't have a track pad. But with the click
to now and hover states it already is feeling a lot better. Loving Markwhen
more and more!!!!

Ah ok. Yeah if you hover on the event in the editor there should be a
little popup, the third button will scroll to that event in the timeline.
There's no cmd + clicking yet.

And the jump to date dialog should be there now!

I may have missed this somewhere, but it would be nice if there were a button or keyboard shortcut to go back to "now" or whatever the current date/time is.
It would also be nice if you could command + click or ctrl + click to go to beginning or end of an event or time range so one could more easily jump around.
Then after jumping around, easily go back to "now".
