xTypeAheadify.js is the world's first publicly available extensible jQuery plugin specifically for IBM XPages.

The out of the box typeAhead capability provided within XPages is a powerful capability, easy to create and setup within a few minutes. It may be easy for the developer but it is not easy on the end user:

  • There is no indication that a lookup is being performed
  • There is no indication that no matches have been found
  • There is no "helper" text

xTypeAheadify.js can be applied to any/all the typeAhead fields within an XPage and provides a richer end user experience:
