This project implements "virtual LEDs" and "virtual 7-segment indicator" displayed on HDMI interface 
of Marsohod3 FPGA board (https://marsohod.org/howtostart/plata-marsokhod3).

Board has only 8 yellow LEDs and some people may need to display more info.
Besides that, board has HDMI output, so additional info can be displayed on attached monitor.

This project does not have framebuffer of something like this..

It displays binary info like you have additional LEDs outputs:
