Currently (as far as I can tell) search works on headline and payload text, but not tags. E.g., if I search for "lily," it finds a DONE item to install lilypond documentation, but it doesn't find any items tagged "lily" (and I know they are there...).

It would also be nice to do a tags search starting at the currently-viewed node. You could open a TODO agenda view and restrict it by tags.

I also thought this should be a basic feature and couldn't believe this doesn't work. In this form MobileOrg is just useless to me. In MobileOrgNg search by tag is working when prefixing the tagname with a colon wich is better than nothing, but a list of available tags to filter by tag with one click would be better.

@bitti you're welcome to implement it.

@rpatterson

Currently we are also working on a "dynamic agenda" feature that will work similar to the org-mode agenda. It allows you to specify custom queries (including searching for tags). Would this work instead? Or would you prefer to do quick one-shot searches with the search function?

@jamshark70

Dynamic agenda views are a wonderful idea, but for this feature request, you may also be searching for items that are not in any agenda.
