github/gitignore is a bit over the top

yes I know, but I think it's useful for finding out "additions" (maybe add a link to it ?)

Here is a nice global ignore file:

https://help.github.com/articles/ignoring-files#global-gitignore

I have merged it with yours and ordered it a bit here: https://github.com/hkdobrev/dotfiles/blob/db20feacafec42205f9b5d7b38cd7cf81275a590/.gitignore

I have commented out the SQL files though.

@hkdobrev No thanks, it’s a bit overkill for me personally.

I’ve decided to close this issue; I’ll just add filenames to .gitignore as I need it, but not before that.
