Enable tap to click for login screen doesn't seem to work for me on 10.8 even after a restart. Anyone else had this issue?

I can confirm this. It doesn’t seem to work anymore for the login screen on OS X 10.8.

I’m trying sudo defaults write com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.trackpad Clicking -int 1 now. Update: That didn’t seem to have any effect, at least not with my MacBook’s built-in Trackpad, which makes sense (as it doesn’t work over Bluetooth).

Trying sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences com.apple.mouse.tapBehavior -int 1 now…

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences com.apple.mouse.tapBehavior -int 1
Not working here.

Yeah, no luck here either. I’ve posted a question on Ask Different: http://apple.stackexchange.com/q/58461/4408

Trying sudo defaults write /var/root/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences com.apple.mouse.tapBehavior -int 1… Doesn’t work either.
