# Forced line breaks don't always properly align #687

 When the first element after a line break would have spacing on the left, that spacing can cause the line to be indented. For example \sin(x) \\ \sin(x)  has the second line indented slightly. See the forum post that generated this issue.

 The line breaking code tries to remove this space for the first element, but it turns out the empty  that causes the line break is the first element, so the algorithm needs to be altered to ignore the  in this case.
