In a MathML output, matrix columns have too much space. #699

Columns except the first one have more space than the first column. This makes matrices look asymmetric.

Minimal exaple:

\[ \begin{bmatrix} 1 & 0 \\ 0 & 1 \end{bmatrix} \]

This only happens in v2.3. I have only tested on Firefox.

In order to work around a bug in Firefox's computation of the widths of elements in tables, MathJax sets a min-width for the mtd elements. It turns out the computation for this didn't take the padding used to separate the table cells into account properly. That needs to be fixed.
