Custom Segments is a very powerful way of using analytics to get information about a subset of users.

As a Piwik user, I would like to create many Custom Segments and compare segments together. Currently when I create 20 or 50 segments, it becomes tedious or impossible, to find the right segment I want to switch to. This is especially a problem for segments with long names.

Goal: I would like to be able to search within all segments and easily find the right segment.

  • enable case insensitive search
  • Show the X icon only when search field hovered
  • add 'edit' tooltip on icon
