In the FAQ: How do I record tracking data in the past, and tell Piwik to re-process the past reports? it is explained how users can use API CoreAdminHome.invalidateArchivedReports to invalidate old data.

The goal of this ticket is to add a new $period to the function, to let users delete a day (default), week, month, or year from the given specified $dates.

This will make easier to invalidate the old data without having to paste hundreds of days in the API call.
