Is it really necessary to add a layout.css file? I guess it depends on personal preference but as the boilerplate uses style.css, I'm not sure if I want to add another css file?

Yeah its just so when you get a fresh install of SilverStripe you don't start with automatically inheriting the cms/css/layout.css Twice I have used it and wondered why I had a blue background -until I realised the wrong css was being included.

I guess it should just be a blank file really?
