iOS Beta is now closed, we have enough testers. We'll be collecting crash data for a few weeks. Then once we get that fixed we'll move iOS builds to the regular app store.

Add your email address here and we'll add you to the test list. This email address needs to be your Apple Store registered email address. Once the email is in, you will receive a notififaction from Apple telling you what to do. It takes a day from when we enter the email to when you are notified.

Lets keep this issue clear for people signing up for testing. Any issue/feedback go to gitter: https://gitter.im/mavlink/qgroundcontrol or google group: qgroundcontrol@googlegroups.com.

Only WiFi is supported.

Keep in mind that iOS devices will only directly connect to Apple approved devices (USB or Bluetooth V2.x). That being the case, a standard telemetry radio will not work on iOS.

Bluetooth V2.x is supported in all platforms, including iOS but as of now, there are no Apple approved devices that can be used for telemetry. BLE Bluetooth devices (which do not need to be approved by Apple) support is planned, but not yet implemented.

We will be releasing new builds every week or so.

Once your email is added to the list, it will be removed from here to avoid clutter.

Hi I got the program very quickly thanks. It looks as good as the one I have on my laptop in Windows 10. The problem I have is that I cannot connect my ar drone 2.0 to either program. I do have the gps flight recorder and all the latest firmware but still no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks Matt

Thanks verymuch I downloaded the app and it looks great. I wasn't able to connect to my copter. My wifi was of course connected to the pixracer wifi. But qgc didn't connect automaticaly.
Do I need to set somthing that it would connect to it?

@sn0west See my comment above

@jpwatters

I'd like to take a look at the IOS version

@ozstickman

Is it possible to resend the link for the app? I placed it on my iPhone thinking I'd be able to place it on my iPad also but it won't let me. I'll delete off the iPhone if you don't wish me to have one on each device.
Thanks

Thank you very much, it works really good on my iphone 5c. I only have some very short connection interrupts sometimes, maybe caused by a too short delay tolerance or something like that.
I made a wifi-radio bridge with a apm wifi module from GLB, a 1S battery and a 3dr radio 433Mhz air module. Works really good. Looking hopefully forward to bluetooth support :-) great work!

As I add your email to TestFlight I remove the messages here. So if your message is still here you haven't been added yet, so please don't double-post.

Also, I'm still working on figuring out how to get multi-devices for the same email.

@billbonney Install TestFlight on other device and it just shows up?

It doesn't matter what email address you use, just open the mail on the iDevice with test flight installed and it should figure it out
Later you do need to sign in with your Apple Store one or one you have registered with Apple Store I'd as an alternate. I just tested on the wife's iPad, I logged into the store on my account, installed test flight, and installed QGC.

@Everett1954 I removed you and re-added. According to itunes connect, it said you were notified on July 25th. Check spam folders in the next day or so in case it's in there.

Just download https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/testflight/id899247664?mt=8 and make sure you are signed in with your Apple ID in the Settings -> iTunes & App Store

PS: BTW I haven't figure how to make iTunes Connect re-send invites, it's PITA for that.

Thanks, I have the app in my iphone now. Do you know if there is an issue with the Ar Drone 2.0 and the parrot GPS ? The app says that is unable to retrieve the information from the drone. I get the same problem in Qgroundcontro form MacOS. If you have any suggestion let me know. Thanks

@Mistyparrot

I am still waiting for an invite for the IOS beta test.

@DangerRabbit

Hi Don,
I also got the app a couple of days ago ,many thanks.
I'm dying to give it a run but I have a Parrot AR drone 2.0 and I can send missions to my drone but I can't seem to initiate them and make it fly the mission?
If you have a spare moment, would you have any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong?
Cheers,
Greg

@sebacea @DangerRabbit I don't have an Ar Drone 2.0 so I can't help too much with that. I do know that the BeBop does not have any parameters that it sends to the ground station. So the Ar may be the same. That should not pop an error though. I changed that a month or so ago when I was testing with my BeBop. I never tried starting a mission. Try changing the flight mode in the toolbar to "Guided" and see of that works.

FYI: Stable QGC builds for iOS are no available in the regular app store.

@kkolehma2

Is there any way of getting the non stable version?

Cheers,
