Is it not possible to multi boot from SD and USB? #539

I planned to have kali on a 32GB SD and raspbian and retropie on a 64GB USB. But there doesnt seem to be anything in the documentation on how to accomplish this and for me it wasnt clear that all the OSs needed to be on either SD or USB. How could I make this work?

Not supported.
All operating systems share the same space.

I have found a way to approximate the setup I described above using PINN.
