###Primal Solution failed because Flow too unstable
I wanted to use DAFoam to optimize drag on highly bold geometries like cycling helmets.
To get a feel for a tool I modified the NACA0012_Profil/incompressible tutorial to use my own mesh and conditions.
To see if the result was what was expected I did a 2D Case of a sphere. After several attempts (and largely increasing the tolerance for residuals) i achieved this result:
BaseLine
"Optimized"
The Simulation stops itself after some steps with this message:
The form is probly due to the Kármán Vortexes which form behind the sphere.
Do you think that DAFoam is generally not very applicable on highly transient cases (like spheres and helmets)
ok how can I tweak the parameters to get a better solution?
