Also might be helpful, on the lock screen especially, if they font could be adjusted to a larger size or bold typeface so it would be easier to read. Particularly important to notice that the notification needs to be DOUBLE tapped to open. If it doesn't work with a single tap, I suppose most people would think to try a double tap. But maybe not. I have changed the message to put DOUBLE TAP in all caps to make it easier to see. I would have liked bold as well.
I, like many people, don't keep my phone at full brightness (saves battery), so it makes it more difficult to read things on the lock screen. Modern tech seems to favor lightweight, razor thin type, which my older eyes have difficulty with. I may not be alone in that. Drives me nuts.
