Actually I am not sure if this is enough, because sub-submenus etc. should
be hidden also and their styles should be removed too. But this could be
done when a submenu get's opened.
Would be nice if a developer with more superfish experience could review
this issue.

Using the drupal module menu_views the <ul> from the view get's
hidden and class .sf-hidden added, but not activated again by
clicking on its parent <li> item.
Superfish shouldn't hide all descendants <ul> Tags, just the
chil(dren) of an expanded li should be enought.

Users of the drupal module special_menu_items find that its option of using <span> break the Superfish themeing.  Using <a href="#"> works except for smallscreen.js.  This update allows for both options.
