collection.find({}, {fields:{_id:1}}).fetch()
on the server returns an array of objects with only the _id property. On the client it ignores it and returns the whole document.

Hi @davidworkman9,
Thank you for this bug report, it is now fixed on devel. Although @glasser and I spent a lot of time looking at all edge-cases it was very easy to miss this one. If you find other corner cases, please open a new issue. All special cases we considered have a test case(https://github.com/meteor/meteor/blob/devel/packages/minimongo/minimongo_tests.js#L917) in case you wonder what is explicitly supported.
