For creating/updating the French translation, you need to use the tool "Qt Linguist". It is shipped e.g. with the "qt5" packages in MSYS2/Mingw-w64. Then, simply open this file in Linguist and start translating. After changing the file, simply re-compile mGBA from your local tree and French will be available as a new option inside the mGBA settings.

French translation is over (maybe some typos to fix) I'll double check later. For now, I can't build mgba. Is it possible to build it for me. And send me an archive to check the french translation ?

It's the 64 bits one... Makes me wonder that I can run the executable without any problems, and I don't have any of my MinGW files in the system path, so if there would be a dependency missing, it wouldn't run on my system either. I'm going to build a 32bit file now to check if that works...

Issues solved - there were some Qt dependencies missing. I don't know why it worked on my system, because my MSYS2 installation shouldn't have altered the PATH variables...

That’s an oddity of my builds. You don’t have to worry about them because Qt provides translations for those standard strings. They will be translated automagically in the official builds.

MemberErm... that's very confusing. Are you extracting the whole archive so that all the libraries are available? And are you on x86_64?
Edit: Hm, I noticed that the folder and binary name doesn't match my archive... Are you absolutely sure you used the right files? ;)
SHA256 checksum for the 7z file is 22274cff60eb8488c2cf154bfdf4cda523527266a8d497fa3afab22fe4758b4b

ContributorYup, go the archive, unzip it and click on mgba.exe. Is it the 32 Bits or 64 Bits ? I'm on windows 10 64 Bits.
I tried to use your mgba.exe with the official release (copy paste your mgba.exe in the mgba.exe 0.6.2). Result is the same :)

MemberIssues solved - there were some Qt dependencies missing. I don't know why it worked on my system, because my MSYS2 installation shouldn't have altered the PATH variables...
anyway, new files - verified working on a clean Windows 7 VM - are available at
