  1. Add flag to include complete git repository archive in commit message

This is useful for small repositories to ensure commit message
recipients always get an up-to-date copy of the contents. Should
absolutely not be used for large repositories!

  2. Make the gitweb url optional

  1. Add support for multiple recipient destinations

This makes it possible to send commit messages to more than one
destination. Each destination will get a completely separate
email - there is no CC or BCC involved.

  1. Add support for authorlist

This makes it possible to enforce both the committer name and the author name,
while not enforcing them to actually be the same. Meaning one committer
can commit a patch authored by another one.

As asked for by Peter E.

  1. Check for changed packed-refs when looking for changes

Previously we only looked at non-packed refs, which led to not
pushing changes over once the repository had been auto-packed.

  1. Forcibly add /usr/sbin to the PATH before running sendmail.

Should make it work better on platforms that follow FHS, like debian.

  1. Have gitwrap support multiple top-level repositories.

Still no support for explicit permissions checking, though, and that's
by design to keep things simple.

  1. Show commit message first in the mail.

Move the link to gitweb as well as the author information further
down in the message. Per comments from Tom Lane.

  1. Add switches to control which messages are sent.

It's now possible to exclude commit, tag or branch messages from
being sent. By default, everything is always sent.

  1. Use --pretty instead of --format.

Used for compatibility with older versions of git.
    committed Aug 19, 2010
  2. Properly support sending email from the commiter instead of the author.

When author and committer differ, we'll put a note in the message body
    instead.
