  1. Support Pinboard as well as Delicious

    mhl committed Aug 23, 2014
The only weirdness here is that tags that have been entered separated by
spaces in Pinboard come out as one tag, e.g. what you get back for
'tags' in a feedparse entry might be:

[{'label': None, 'scheme': None, 'term': u'pop-culture racism sexism'}]

FIXME another time, since the only effect on presentation is not getting
    that tags comma-separated.

  1. Check updated_parsed and then published_parse to suppress a warning

    mhl committed Jul 1, 2013
    This fixes the warning:

"DeprecationWarning: To avoid breaking existing software while fixing
issue 310, a temporary mapping has been created from `updated_parsed`
       to `published_parsed` if `updated_parsed` doesn't exist. This
fallback will be removed in a future version of feedparser."
  2. Fix the verbose option

  4. Switch to using the Twitter API to fetch Tweets

    mhl committed Jun 30, 2013
The ScraperWiki feed for NotesAndTheories Twitter users is
broken in a way that's non-trivial to fix, so switch to using
    the Twitter API v1.1.

  1. Cope with non-ASCII characters in URLs (by skipping that URL)

    mhl committed Nov 5, 2012
Essentially all the URLs in the Twitter feed are from t.co
which should never have non-ASCII characters in them anyway -
goodness knows what kind of broken client is creating
t.co links with a \u201c (LEFT DOUBLE QUOTATION MARK) in the
    middle...
  2. Use /usr/bin/env in the #! lines

    mhl committed Nov 5, 2012
  3. Comment out the line that sets User-Agent via add_headers

    mhl committed Nov 5, 2012
It seems that if you try to set the User-Agent via addheaders, as
suggested at the bottom of this page:

      http://docs.python.org/library/urllib2.html

... then it seems that redirections are no longer followed.
