Old comments suggest that the IMU's gyro and accel are sampled at different rates, with different timestamps.

This might be a problem for ROS, since it only provides a way to send a single IMU message with a single timestamp.

Investigate if this is true, and try to determine if this will cause issues with common SLAM packages (for example, Cartographer).
