Option to not add XML declaration to files on saving

I use this application almost exclusively to edit XML files for modifying Aras Innovator, which will not accept XML files with a declaration at the top. Can you add an option to not add that on saving?

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, I would also ask you to ask Aras Innovator to fix their support for XML, the XML declaration is a part of the standard that they need to support properly.

In the meantime, do you need one or both of these options:

1. A setting to always remove the XML declaration (this would always write the doc in UTF-8 encoding).
2. Change the editor to remember not to put an XML declaration on a document that didn't have one when it was loaded (which will also default to UTF-8 encoding, unless it found a different Byte Order Mark (BOM) when the file was loaded).

Agreed, but good luck with that (technically, it's not XML, it's their own "Aras Markup Language," which is just XML). Anyway, option 2 would be perfect. Thanks!
