When I plug in the RGB RING module, the second light will automatically light up

what firmware are you running on the microbit? microcode?

I use microbit-jukebox.hex which from dashboard

Ha I see it might be a jukebox bug.

This is by design. I'm lighting 3 of them to look less like a bug. Did you have another idea in mind? I need to turn on some LED for demo? rainbow maybe? We had the issue to using too much amps if we turned on all LEds.

If this is a boot-up animation, it can be set so that only 1 LED lights up at a time, from the first one to the eighth one, and finally all of them go out. It can be set to green
